The Golden Crown Literary Society:
Recognize and reward quality literature - GCLS recognizes and rewards high-quality works that feature women who love women.
Provide learning opportunities - GCLS offers scholarships and a Writing Academy to help new and established writers develop their craft.
Promote literature - GCLS promotes sapphic and women-loving-women literature through events that bring together readers and writers.
Be inclusive - GCLS is inclusive of all identities in the sapphic and women-loving-women space. They encourage and support initiatives that promote understanding, respect, and kindness.
